This guide includes some suggestions from us for your vacation.
NEARBY BEACHES
We have selected for you three nearby beaches, two of which are easily accessible on foot.
COVE OF ELEA
The picturesque cove of Elia can easily be your daily visit to the sea for a swim, as it is only 200 meters from our rooms.
Its waters are crystal clear and shallow. It is an ideal beach for children since the beach is crowded and vehicles are not allowed on the road.
It also has a walking area, a children’s playground and restaurants for dining.

VIANDINI
Viandini is a small cove at 750 meters from our Rooms. It can be easily reached on foot (about 10 minutes) or by car.
The beach is organized with umbrellas, sunbeds and showers, from the tavern and bar that exists there. There is also space and a net for Beach Volley. It is worth swimming to the island with the wild pigeons, which is located in the bay of Viandini, as well as to enjoy the beautiful sunset.
There is also a large car park for your vehicle.

TIGANIA
Tigania is an open large beach. Its waters are amazing and crystal clear, but a little cold, as there are several inland freshwater jets coming from the mountains.
At the beginning of the beach there is an organized space with umbrellas, sunbeds, showers, music and space for beach volleyball and rackets, due to the tavern and the beach bar that exists there.
But if you want a calmer situation, you can find a nice shade under the big trees of the rest of the beach.
This beach is about 1800 meters from us, so it is better to get a vehicle, since there is enough parking.

DISTANT BEACHES
The following beaches and destinations are famous and perhaps necessary for someone especially visiting us for the first time. The locations are arranged according to the distance from our rooms. From the nearest to the farthest.
PLYTRA
The beach of Plytra is excellent. White sand with turquoise crystal clear waters. A part of the beach is organized with everything you need, from the tavern and bar located there. Also for quieter you can go to the opposite beach of the same bay, called Karavostasi, there is interest for diving, since there is a shipwreck from BC. It is about 13 km from our rooms.
NEAPOLI MAGANO
Maggano beach is located near Neapoli, Laconia. It has a similar morphology to Elafonissos. Turquoise waters with golden sand. Ideal for calm and children. There is a tavern-bar with sunbeds and umbrellas, but also plenty of unspoilt space. The distance from EleaRooms is 45 km.
ELAFONISSOS
Elafonisos is a beautiful island at one end of the Laconic Gulf. Its famous beach is that of Simos. The small and the big, which are both organized to a large extent.
On the big beach is the campsite, from which you can rent sunbeds and umbrellas, get coffee or food. The crystal clear waters of the beach are enchanting. Blue-green with white sand. Ideal for children and relaxation.
You have to spend a whole day on this trip and our advice is to go in the morning, 9 am, in order to reach the sea completely calm.
The transition to the island is done by ferry, which also takes cars.
The duration of the transition is about 15 minutes.
However, the distance from EleaRooms to the ferry is about 47 km.
On the big beach is the campsite, from which you can rent sunbeds and umbrellas, get coffee or food. The crystal clear waters of the beach are enchanting. Blue-green with white sand. Ideal for children and relaxation.

SIGHTS
We have selected for you four sights of Southeastern Laconia. We consider them to be the most important and it will be a great experience to visit them.
CASTLE OF MONEMVASIA
First and best attraction in the ranking, is of course the famous Castle City of Monemvasia. No special recommendations needed. It is a place to visit.
